Almost 4 years since "Hunter Street", SiB is releasing the much anticipated "Scotch in a Cup", the first single off the forthcoming full length debut album "Loaded Heart". In the name of sex, drugs and rock & roll and in the spirit of The Cramps and early Black Keys, "Scotch in a Cup" is a filthy fuzz fuelled garage rock foot-stomper.

It was released digitally world wide on the 16th of August 2014 alongside a video clip directed by emerging writer/director Eddie Diamandi and a celebratory show at Howler, one of Melbourne's premier arts and entertainment venues, with supports from the raucus Cherrywood and the divine Stella Angelico.

“Soul explosion”, “sexy rawness”, “smooth, soulful and somewhat sultry”, “electrifying soundscapes” and “wondrous noises” are words used by music journalists and reviewers over the last couple of years who have attempted to describe his music.

SiB has shared the stage with Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, The Cat Empire, Daniel Merriweather, Clairy Brown & The Banging Rackets, Little John, Cash Savage & The Last Drinks, Child, Cody ChesnuTT and Tricky (Massive Attack).

SiB says “It all comes from the blues for me. I think there’s a healing process through the song, there’s salvation.”
